Did you pay contributions to the Overseas Social Security for at least one month over the course of 2022? Then you will receive an estimate of your pension entitlements at the age of 65 through My eBox by the end of November 2023. Use My eBox for the digital reception and management of all your government documents.
Your electronic government mailbox
Anyone with an active electronic identity card (eID), token or the Itsme app is able to receive documents from Belgian authorities in a direct, fast and secure digital way in their personal My eBox. Are you living abroad? No worries! Your eBox account does not change when you move or change e-mail address.
Please consult the My eBox website (in French)(New window) for a swift activation of this practical electronic mailbox.
And what about my personal mailbox?
My eBox is automatically linked to your personal email account. This ensures you are always notified when a confidential document is available and also when an unread document will be removed from My eBox.
In the era of phishing and fraud, it is important to know that government documents will never be sent directly to your personal mailbox. You will only receive a notification in your personal mailbox that a document is available in My eBox. You can then log in there in order to view it.
- You have access to all your government documents whenever and wherever you are: just log in when and where it suits you best.
- No more searching and wasting time, because you can find whatever you need quickly, in one, well-organised place.
- You have complete peace of mind because access is highly secured.
- Registration is easy: you can use your eID or token or the user-friendly itsme(New window) mobile app.
