New BIC for international payments to the Overseas Social Security

As from 15 December 2025, the BIC of the Overseas Social Security bpost account will change. This change is particularly important if you make international payments from outside the SEPA zone or in a currency other than the euro. You can find an interactive map showing the countries in the SEPA zone on the European Central Bank's website (New window).

The current BIC PCHQBEBB will be replaced by GEBABEBB. The IBAN will remain unchanged.

During the period from 9 up to and including 14 December 2025, payments may be temporarily disrupted.
